What is a Surcee?

A surcee is a southern term meaning a thoughtful or unexpected gift. They are not meant to be extravagant gifts, they are just a little something to show someone you are thinking of them.Growing up my family would give me surcees for the first day of school, after returning from a vacation or just because I needed a pick me up along with many other occasions.
